Multifunction portable gas detector type INEP-Z is portable micro-controlled device used for gas detection in underground coal mines (category I), designed according to standards EN 60079-0:2006, EN 60079-11:2007 and EN 50303:2000.
The device continuously measures level of explosive and toxic gases in underground mine. User is warned with sound and flashing visual alarm.
The device consists of two main parts:
measuring head with illuminated display and electronics
battery power pack.
Measuring principle
NDIR cell for measurement of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2)
Chemical cell for measurement of carbon monoxide (CO) and oxygen (O2)
Measurement of relative humidity (Rh), air temperature (T) and air pressure (p) is possible. Current measured values are displayed on illuminated display, installed behind reinforced protective glass. Display is illuminated at 10 degrees. On front side of device there are three buttons to manualy setup device. Remote setup via Bluetooth communication is also possible. Two alarm values can be set. There is sound alarm and flash light (LED), different colour for each type of measured gas. Device is charged with specially designed charger, for use outside explosion danger zone only.
Battery power supply Autonomy: >24 hours Wide range of detection: CH4, CO, CO2, O2, temperature, humidity, air pressure Audible and visual alarm Software calibration Data logging Bluetooth Quick charger (approx. 2 hrs)
Explosion protection (ATEX): I M1 Ex ia I Ma
