Application, description

Sudden exhausts and outbursts of methane and other poisonous gases at coalmines represent extremely hazardous events that cannot be forseen or predicted in advance.
For the efficient protection of the miners who are present at the working sites in the mine, the timely information and signalisation of specific danger is of decisive and vital importance.
Successful signalisation of potential danger using digiTRANS system provides timely possibilities for the implementation of safety and technical actions.

Station is battery powered which allows non interrupting operation even in the presence of methane. The station is modular and allows the user to change the configuration by customer requests.
DigiTRANS 2200 has a built-in controller to enable local monitoring and displays information status of the station on the display. Communication with the station and control room can be either fiber optic or copper.
Standard configuration includes display and optical converter and allows connection of 8 analog, 16 digital sensors and usage of 8 relay outputs.
