Control separation element KLV-XXX-PEx is designed for transfer and galvanic separation of control signals from intrinsic safe circuits and non-intrinsic (power) circuits. Because of its robust design, it can be used in applications in underground mines (I). Control separation element KLV-XXX-PEx can be mounted directly to Ex d and Ex e enclosure type through cable bushing type M24x1,5. The whole operating process is based on input voltage measuring on intrinsic safe side and contemporary controls of two relays on non-intrinsic safe side of device. There are three light indicators on the cover of enclosure, which indicates the presence of power supply, state of relay activation and line error.
