Sensor measuring head CO-CAN, CH4-CAN, CO-I and CH4-I

Description, application of CO-CAN and CO-I sensors

Sensors CO-CAN and CO-I are designed for use in parkhouses and all other placed where we can expect carbon monoxide. They are measuring concentration of carbon monoxide in range from 0 to 250 ppm. CO-CAN is working with CAN protocol and CO-I works with standard current loop.

Description, application of CH4-CAN and CH4-I sensors

Sensors CH4-CAN and CH4-I are designed for measuring the concentration of explosive gases. They are measuring the gas concentration in range from 0 to 50 % of LEL.

Placing

Placing the CO-CAN and CO-I
Carbon monoxide density is equal to air density. The sensor should be mounted approximately 140 to 160 cm above floor.
Placing the CH4-CAN and CH4-I
Sensor or measuring head CH4- CAN and CH4-I is placed in height as regard to gas specific density.
  • LPG - liquid oil gas heavier than air, detector is placed aproximately 20 cm above ground.
  • Natural gas - lighter than air, detector is placed under ceiling.
Assembly of sensors
For correct setup of gas detectors, we need information about relative gas density according to air density. Sensor should be mounted near the source of the potential gas leak.
