Yesterday and today, the 9th Balkan Mining Congress is being held in Belgrade. Tevel’s General Manager, Iztok Živko, and General Manager of Tevel, and the head of Research and Development, Matjaž Javoršek, are attending the congress. The latter presented the innovations from Tevel, including the new programmable controller INSNOR - M12, module ISOR-CAN/WiFi in repeater RS485.The compact programmable controller type INSNOR-M12 is designed for date acquisition, processing, control, and transmission. Data can be transmitted in real-time over long distances via various buses, e.g. to a control center where it can be pre-processed, visualized, stored, and transmitted. The controller is designed according to the standards for use in coal mines endangered by methane and coal dust.
The focus of this year’s congress is the underground and surface exploitation of coal and other processes in the strategic production in energy sector.
